Detailed Itinerary

(Days 1-2) - International Flight from Los Angeles to Sydney

Board your evening flight bound for Sydney, Australia from Los Angeles.

Day 2 will be spent in flight. Since you cross the international date line you will lose a day, but don't worry you will make it up on the return flight.

(Days 3-5) - Explore Sydney, Australia

Day 3 Sydney
After an early check-in, relax or step out to explore. Perhaps stroll down to Circular Quay. Tonight, join fellow travelers for our Welcome Dinner.

Day 4 City Sights, Harbor Cruise
Sydney sightseeing including a visit to Featherdale Wildlife Park, a luncheon harbor cruise and Opera House tour.

(Days 6-8) - Cairns, The Great Barrier Reef, Rainforest and Aboriginal Experience

Day 6 Cairns and Tjapukai Dinner and Show
Fly to Cairns. Enjoy a short tour of this tropical city. Tonight enjoy the cultural Tjapukai Dinner and Show.

Day 7 Great Barrier Reef Cruise
An exceptional day to see the Great Barrier Reef. Explore the reef as you swim and snorkel or join a semi-submersible.

Day 8 Kuranda Rainforest via Skyrail and Scenic Railway
Ride the Skyrail Cableway, gliding over the lush World Heritage-listed rain forest canopy to Kuranda. Return to Cairns aboard the Kuranda Scenic Railway, past cascading waterfalls and rain forest.

Day 9 Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park in Ayers Rock

Day 10 Uluru Base Tour and Alice Springs
Tour the base of Uluru and view ancient caves and Aboriginal rock art. Later, travel to Alice Springs.

Day 11 Alice Springs Tour and The Ghan Train
Tour Alice Springs, visiting the Royal Flying Doctor Base and Anzac Hill. Board The Ghan for a great Outback journey. The Ghan, one of the world's great train journeys.

Adelaide, Barossa Valley and Melbourne

Day 12 Adelaide and the Barossa Valley.
Arrive in Adelaide aboard The Ghan. At the Barossa Valley enjoy Australian wines and lunch at a winery. Visit Haigh's Chocolates.

Day 13 Melbourne
