Next travel to Cairns and experience the majesty of this underwater playground. Cruise the Great Barrier Reef and view the Rainforest and Aboriginal heritage presentation at Kuranda.

Detailed Itinerary

(Days 1-2) - International Flight, Los Angeles to Sydney
Board your evening flight bound for Sydney, Australia from Los Angeles.

Day 2 will be spent in flight. Since you cross the international date line you will lose a day, but don't worry you will make it up on the return flight.
(Days 3-5) - Explore Sydney, Sydney Harbour Cruise, Sydney Opera House and Beaches

Day 3 Arrive Sydney, Australia
Arrive in Sydney. Enjoy our Welcome Dinner.
Accommodation 3 Nights: Sydney, Shangri-La Hotel.

Day 4 Sydney Harbour Cruise
See the sights of Sydney today including Hyde Park, Kings Cross and Bondi Beach as we tour the city. Join a leisurely luncheon cruise on sparkling Sydney Harbour. Later, tour the famous Opera House.

Day 5 Sydney
Relax and enjoy Sydney at your own pace today.

(Days 6-7) - Explore Melbourne, Fashion and Shopping Capital

Day 6 Melbourne, Tramcar Restaurant
Fly to Melbourne and enjoy a sightseeing tour of the city. Join the Colonial Tramcar Restaurant for dinner.
Accommodation 2 Nights: Melbourne, Langham Hotel, luxury on the vibrant riverfront.

Day 7 At Leisure in Melbourne
Perhaps take an optional tour along the Great Ocean Road or to see the penguins at Phillip Island (own expense).

Day 8 Alice Springs
Fly to Alice Springs and take a tour on arrival, including the Royal Flying Doctor Base. Tonight enjoy our Camp Oven Dinner under the stars.
Accommodation 1 Night: Alice Springs, Alice Springs Resort.

Day 9 Camel Farm, Uluru /Ayers Rock and Kata Tjuta (Olgas).
Visit a camel farm before traveling to Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. Travel to Kata Tjuta, a cluster of 36 rocky domes dominating the skyline, and join a guided walk through Walpa (Olga) Gorge.
Accommodation 1 Night: Ayers Rock Resort's premier hotel, Sails in the Desert.

Day 10am Uluru (Ayers Rock)
Walk around the base of Uluru, viewing galleries of Aboriginal rock art. Hear of ancient Aboriginal legends of the region and visit Maruku Arts and Crafts Gallery.

(Days 10 - 12) - Enjoy Cairns and Relax on Dunk Island

Day 10 pm Cairns
Fly to tropical Cairns, taking a tour on arrival.

Day 11 Dunk Island
Relax as we cruise to tropical Dunk Island. This afternoon is free for you to explore the island at your own pace. Perhaps relax on the white sandy beaches, wander the rain forest or enjoy a swim in the ocean.

Day 12 Great Barrier Reef Cruise
The beauty of the Great Barrier Reef is a sight to behold as you spend the day at Beaver Cay.

Day 13 Pamagirri Dancers, Wildlife, Kuranda Scenic Railway, Cairns.
Departing Dunk Island for the village of Kuranda. See Pamagirri Aboriginal Dancers perform, visit a native wildlife park and ride the Kuranda Railway.
