Get a ticket on the City Cat Ferry – it’s good for all day & lets you ride bus, train and ferry.


Include Mount Cootha as part of the zones you will cross – you can get off at a ferry stop and take a bus from there to Mount Cootha and take in some great city views. Be sure to do this earlier in the day since the buses stop running out to Mount Cootha later in the day.

Brisbane has a great public transportation system in place and free tours of both the Parliament House and the Botanical Gardens.

(Day 3) - Day Tour, River Cruise and Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary

Take an informative and entertaining river cruise down the Brisbane River followed by 3 hours at a koala sanctuary where you can hand feed kangaroos and emus.

With so many activities available The Esplanade has always been a focal point for this city. This is a place that literally has everything! Take a stroll and do some bird watching on the boardwalk but as you enjoy the views don’t forget to stop off at Foreshore Promenade for a bite to eat at the many available restaurants. Access to The Lagoon is easy here which is set overlooking the Barrier Reef and Trinity inlet and features all year free swimming where you can take a dip in this filtered saltwater lagoon. Let the kids can play in the sandy edges and in the shallow waters while you lounge on the semi-shaded timber decks. For the kids, don’t miss out on the Trinity Bay foreshore playground “Muddy” with equipment for all ages. For the older kids, stop off at the Skate Park to see some skaters and BMXers in action! Whether you decide to take a morning jog, fly a kite or just relax in the large grassy areas for some lunch you will surely enjoy the tropical lifestyle!

If you happen to be in Cairns on a Saturday be sure to check out the Weekend Markets which feature only locally made arts and crafts, clothing and much more. While you’re there listen out for the live music and fun street characters. The market gets into full swing on the promenade (just by the lagoon) every Saturday between 8am – 4pm.

Children under 5 are not allowed. Children 5 and older are at the adult rate. Passenger weights are needed at the time of booking. Passengers must be able to mount the camels unaided. Guests with medication (such as inhalers, adrenalin, insulin etc.) will be placed close to the lead camel and all medication will be carried in the saddlebag. Please wear comfortable riding clothes, terrain-appropriate shoes, a hat, and sunglasses. Please bring sunscreen and money for souvenirs. This experience can be catered to your dietary needs. Optional Day Tour (Not Included) - Walking Tour to Kata Tjuta

Sit back and relax as you travel into the amazing Uluru – Kata Tjuta National Park. The scenery along the way will amaze you and with luck, you may even see some of the local wildlife such as dromedary camels and kangaroos.

On arrival at Kata Tjuta you’ll commence the walk to the Valley of the Winds, heading first to the Karu lookout. With views across the many domes of Kata Tjuta and out into the sacred Anangu men’s area, you’ll be in awe of this natural wonder. Next stop is the Karingana lookout. This walk can be a little challenging, but well worth the effort. It takes you down into a timeless haven within the domes through trickling creek beds. At times of extreme heat the walk may not be available, but will be substituted with an alternative walk. Shorter walks are also available for those not wanting to walk to the second lookout.

As the sun sets over the western horizon you’ll arrive at the Sunset Viewing Area. While sipping on chilled sparkling wine and nibbles you can enjoy the wonder that is a Kata Tjuta sunset. Each passing minute brings something new as the domes continue to change colour with the setting sun.

This tour has 300+ stairs – Low Impact. Depart Sydney from the International Airport and fly to Los Angeles. Note: You will be traveling back across the International Date line so you will gain a day. You actually arrive in the USA on the same day you leave Australia.

  • c) An Infant (Lapchild) must be less than 2 years old on the date of departure. Infant must travel with at least one adult. An infant with a seat pays the price of a Child.
  • d) A Child must be aged between 2-11 years on the date of departure. Child must travel with at least one adult.
