Trip Description

Vacation to Ayers RockJust imagine…

You’ll start in Cairns so you can see the Great Barrier Reef and the tropical rain forests of North Queensland.  Then you will embark on your Australian Outback adventure to Uluru (Ayers Rock) where you’ll find yourself immediately awestruck by it’s dramatically beautiful presence. As the sun sweeps across the sky, the shadows wax and wane changing the color of the landscape with each passing minute.  Just by witnessing its glory, you’ll intuitively understand why it’s so sacred to the Aboriginal people and why people travel across the world just to see it.

During your 3-Day tour of Uluru, Kings Canyon and Alice Springs you’ll visit the Uluru – Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre. Just before sunset, your guide will take you to witness the beauty of an Ayers Rock sunset in the changing light. You’ll witness the sunrise over Uluru, explore Kata Tjuta, and view Aboriginal art with an informative guide before traveling to Kings Canyon.

You’ll have the chance to see The Field of Light installation and global phenomenon by artist Bruce Munro. This is the biggest Field of Light installation to date and the only one to be extended for a second year! What makes it even more special is that Uluru is the place where Munro found his inspiration for his internationally renowned project.

In Kings Canyon you’ll see the amazing views of Watarrka National Park from the rim of Kings Canyon. You can even opt to take a hike along the rim to witness stunning views. That evening you’ll travel to Alice Springs. Take an Alice Springs Highlight tour to explore all the main attractions, including School of Air, the Trailways (formally Telegraph) Station, Royal Flying Doctor Service, the Reptile Centre and Anzac Hill.

Next, hop on a flight to Australia’s iconic city of Sydney to visit the famous Habour Bridge, Opera House and more!
