Day 2 - Australian Domestic Flight, Brisbane to Cairns

Travel by shuttle from the Cairns Airport to your vacation accommodation in Cairns, Australia.

Departures occur approximately 30 minutes after aircraft arrival-time for domestic flights. For international flights this will be considerably longer because of customs and other formalities.

Days 2 to 5 - 3 Nights Accommodation in Cairns

Travel to your accommodation Cairns, Australia, where you will be staying whilst on vacation for 3 nights.

Day 3 - Day Tour, Great Barrier Reef Cruise

This Great Barrier Reef experience is perfect for swimmers with all levels of confidence! This all-weather platform offers a plethora of options to see the amazing under water wonderland that is the Great Barrier Reef!

Snorkel in the sheltered coral lagoon, join a Marine Biologist on a Guided Snorkel safari, or go scuba diving (no experience necessary)

For those not confident in swimming, stay dry and view the reef from the semi-submersible reef viewer, glass bottom boat or underwater observatory or try a Helmet Dive for a scuba-style experience without getting your hair wet.

If simply relaxing & soaking up the tropical warmth is more your style then take time out on the spacious sundeck where you will also find the regions only reef-based massage therapist.  You’ll have plenty of time to do it all!

Day 4 - Day Tour, Kuranda Rainforestation with Lunch - Full Day

A wonderful day awaits as you are transported on the historic Kuranda Scenic Rail to Kuranda, our Kuranda Boarding Pass enables you to avoid the ticketing lines as seating has been pre-allocated. Rainforestation, set in 40 hectares of lush gardens, is your next stop. Board the amphibious Army Duck, see unique tropical fruits, ancient rainforest plants & native animals, before a performance by the Pamagirri Dancers. A BBQ lunch is included as well, then it’s time to board Skyrail for your return journey.



Check in: Our Driver will meet you at your accommodation and check you in for your tour using our Kuranda Boarding pass. The pass includes a detailed itinerary, pre-allocated preferential Kuranda Scenic Railway seating, map of Kuranda, and discounted entry into selected Kuranda attractions.




Kuranda Scenic Rail: Boarding the famous Kuranda Scenic Rail, An amazing journey awaits you as you travel one of the world’s most scenic rail routes, through hand-hewn tunnels and over bridges spanning spectacular gorges.

Kuranda Village: Once you alight at beautiful Kuranda Station, you have ample time to explore the many and varied shops, as well as the Heritage Markets which operate daily.

Rainforestation: Your shuttle coach will transfer you to Rainforestation, set in 40 hectares of lush gardens and tropical rainforest, a number of unique attractions await you. Board the unusual amphibious Army Duck for a different look at the rainforest. An experienced guide will show you unique tropical fruits, ancient rainforest plants and point out a number of our native animals as you meander through the rainforest. Join the Dreamtime Walk for an insight into ancient Aboriginal Culture. The Pamagirri Dancers perform a range of native dances in the Rainforest Amphitheatre that reflects their humour and excitement of their culture. A delicious BBQ lunch is included before visiting the Koala & Wildlife Park. Cuddle a koala (own expense), smile at a crocodile and hand feed the kangaroos and wallabies before returning to Kuranda.

Skyrail Rainforest Cableway: At your pre-allocated time board Skyrail, an experience which takes you over the rainforest canopy with stops along the way allowing you to take a stroll or visit the CSIRO Interpretive Centre. Your return transfer departs at 4.50pm where our hostess is waiting to assist you with your return transfer.

Day 6 - Morning Tour, Sunrise Tour

Watch the sunrise over Uluru on this essential Outback tour.

Rise early and travel to Talinguru Nyakunytjaku – the Uluru sunrise viewing area. On the way your informative guide will point out some sacred sights and tell you about their fascinating history.

Once you arrive, you will be able to enjoy a morning spread of hot chocolate, tea, coffee and an array of cookies as you explore the area and await the sunrise.

From the Talinguru Nyakunytjaku viewing platform you will be able to see for many miles around. This vantage point will give you an undisrupted view of Uluru and allow you to witness the first rays of the sun as they rise over the Red Centre.

As you watch the sunrise you will be serenaded by the local birds waking up to greet the sun.

Return to the coach for a scenic drive to the 36 domes of Kata Tjuta and enjoy a panoramic view of this incredible rock formation from the Dune Viewing platform. You can also see Uluru from a distance from this lookout.

You’ll spend time exploring Walpa Gorge, a lush oasis in the desert, following the path between two of the tallest domes of Kata Tjuta.

Day 7 - Day Tour, Scenic Coach to Kings Canyon - Half Day

This afternoon coach transfer from Uluru (Ayers Rock) to Kings Canyon, passes through some of the most beautiful and rugged scenery that the outback has to offer.

Along the way, your guide will point out key landmarks, sharing local history and stories of sacred sites.

You will pass Curtin Springs and view Atila (Mt. Conner). Atila is very distinctive, flat topped mountain, rising more than 980 feet above the desert sand. You’ll be amazed as it is often mistaken for Uluru.

Turning off the Lasseter Highway onto Luritja Road, you will hear the history of the surrounding cattle stations, arriving at Kings Canyon Resort before dusk. You may have time to view sunset behind Carmichaels Crag to finish your day.

Days 6 to 7 - 1 Night Accommodation in Kings Canyon

Sometimes referred to as Australia’s Grand Canyon, this extraordinary sandstone chasm plunges over three hundred feet into the earth. At the floor of the canyon you’ll discover The Garden of Eden, an exotic oasis of palms and ferns, as well as the eerie formations of weathered rock known as The Lost City.

Rich in fauna and flora, rock pools, sand plains and gullies, Kings Canyon has played an important role in Aboriginal life for over twenty thousand years. Today, Aboriginal guides conduct fascinating tours of the canyon and the surrounding Watarrka National Park.
This may be the heart of the wilderness, but your creature comforts are well catered for just seven kilometres away, in the shape of Kings Canyon Resort. Designed with the utmost sensitivity to the environment, the single-storey buildings that make up the resort nestle discreetly amongst the trees and rock faces.

Canyon Rim or Creek Bed Walk

Kings Canyon – Located in the heart of Watarrka National Park, Kings Canyon is set among an incredible ancient Australian landscape that is sacred ground for the Ulpinyali and Lilla people.

Canyon Rim Walk If you’re taking the six kilometre Rim Walk, you’re in for a memorable experience. You’ll climb up a 100 metre cliff face and walk around the rim of the canyon’s sandstone walls. This walk has some of the most impressive views looking out over the sandstone cliffs and down over the cliff faces.

The Garden of Eden 270 metres down into the chasm, between the sandstone cliffs you’ll arrive at a true oasis known as the Garden of Eden. Here, a natural spring waterhole surrounded by local and exotic plants and trees such as gums, bonsai looking trees and enormous prehistoric ferns all create a truly unique landscape.

Creek Bed Walk If you’re interested in something a little more relaxing, the Creek Bed Walk is ideal. Take a little more time to enjoy your surroundings before setting off on your 2 kilometre stroll following the rocky creek bed that will lead you to views of the impressive canyon rim.

Day 9 - Day Tour, Litchfield National Park Waterfalls - Full Day

Travel south from Darwin to the picturesque Litchfield National Park and discover its stunning waterfalls.

Litchfield National Park’s major attractions are the permanent spring fed waterfalls of Florence, Tolmer and Wangi falls.

The Park’s central sandstone plateau supports patches of monsoonal rainforest that thrive in the deep, narrow gorges, created over thousands of years by the force of the waterfalls cutting into the escarpment walls.

Common wildlife species include wallaroos, wallabies, possums, flying foxes and dingoes. The caves near Tolmer Falls are home to a colony of rare Orange Horseshoe Bats. Litchfield is also a haven for hundreds of native bird species. Birds of prey are common during the dry season and the Rainbow Bee-eater inhabits the sheltered areas close to waterfalls.

See the picturesque double waterfall that forms beautiful Florence Falls, surrounded by lush rainforest. Continue to Tolmer Falls. Noted as one of the most spectacular waterfalls in the park, Tolmer Falls cascades over two high escarpments and plunges into a deep waterhole below.

Journey a short distance to the rock pool at Wangi Falls where there’s time to enjoy a refreshing swim in the waters at the waterfall’s base, (conditions permitting). Or perhaps take a nature walk to the top of Wangi Falls and enjoy a bird’s-eye view of the lush surrounds.

Day 10 - Day Tour, Kakadu National Park Explorer with Lunch

Visit Kakadu National Park, enjoy Arnhem Land Escarpment, take a cruise along the famous Yellow Water billabong and learn about the history of the area.

Depart the tropical city of Darwin and enter Australia’s largest national park, World Heritage-listed Kakadu National Park.

Kakadu’s vast wetlands and ancient escarpment are home to one of Australia’s largest and most diverse bird populations and carry outstanding natural and cultural significance.

At Jabiru, visit the Aboriginal Cultural Center, or for an additional cost enjoy a 50 minute scenic flight over the Arnhem Land Escarpment and take in the beauty of the region from the air.

Afterwards, join a wonderful guided cruise on famous Yellow Water billabong and keep an eye out for wildlife inhabiting the billabong and its surrounds. You may even spot crocodiles!

Then travel to Nourlangie Rock to view a variety of ancient Aboriginal rock art. On your return route to Darwin, stop at the Window on the Wetlands Visitor Centre where you have the opportunity to learn about the wildlife, seasonal changes, animal groups, and local Aboriginal and European history of the region. Relax and enjoy a complimentary glass of wine while admiring the beautiful evening view over the floodplains from the top of the Visitor Centre before returning to Darwin.

On your vacation, participate in an inspiring tour of the Sydney Opera House.


This one hour tour outlines the intricate and controversial history of the Sydney Opera House along with details of the unique design of this architectural masterpiece. You will visit a number of the six performance venues, including the magnificent wood paneled Concert Hall and the Opera Theatre as well as the new Utzon room. Need to Know

Reach new heights and climb the famous Harbour Bridge in Sydney!

Achieve exhilaration and personal satisfaction as you climb the Sydney Harbour Bridge. For approximately 3.5 hours you and 11 other eager climbers will join a climb guide and weave through catwalks, climb up ladders and then arrive at the most spectacular point of all – the upper arch climb. The steady incline to the upper arch leaves you free to focus your attention on your Sydney experience, with opportunities for 360 degree views of Sydney, including east to the ocean, west to the mountains and the harbor city surrounds.

It is at this point that you not only have a bird’s eye view of the beautiful Sydney Harbour and the city, but have the exhilarating and rewarding experience of reaching the top of the iconic Harbour Bridge.

When you reach the top you will have a sense of achievement you’ll remember forever – you’ve conquered an Australian icon recognized the world over! No other Sydney tourist attraction can give you this feeling of standing at the top of the world, with the harbor spread before you.

All climbers will be issued a complimentary photograph of your climb group.

Daily, in all weather conditions (except in cases of extreme weather conditions like electrical storms or high winds).

Need to Know:
– Wear comfortable, enclosed rubber-soled shoes and comfortable clothing;
– Secure lockers will be provided to store your personal belongings;
– No cameras, phones, GoPros or other video and mobile devices are allowed on the climb;
– Children ages 8 – 15 must be accompanied by an adult. Children younger than 8 are not permitted on the climb;
– Maximum of 14 people per group.

Times:
The climb lasts approximately 3.5 hours. Climbs are available at dawn (limited departures), day, twilight or night.

Optional Day Tour (Not Included) - Blue Mountains Deluxe Day Tour - Full Day

The Blue Mountains Deluxe Day is a real journey into the heart of a unique World Heritage Region. From temperate rainforests to towering sandstone escarpments, you’ll see and experience it all. Let the landscape work its wonders and become part of you for a lifetime.

Upon departing from the city, you will travel directly to the Blue Mountains and your first stop of the day is at Calmsley Hill Farm a working farm also home to Kangaroo, Emu, Wombat and Koala. Enjoy morning tea and time to wander at leisure.

From Calmsley Hill you will continue to ascend the Blue Mountains via the highway. Visit one of a range of stunning outlooks of the Jamison Valley seeing beautiful vistas. Where possible this will be away from the crowds of tours that visit the mountains each day with other operators, thus you will have the opportunity to enjoy a stress and hurry free environment taking in the views and information imparted by your guide.

Continuing on you will arrive at Eaglehawk Lookout, a remote lookout points away from the crowds for views of the famous 3 Sisters. Whilst the Blue Mountains features so much more than this natural attraction you can’t help but admire the unquestionable beauty of this amazing rock formation. The character of the Three Sisters changes throughout the day and throughout the seasons as the sunlight brings out the magnificent colors. Here your guide will discuss the legends behind this famous rock formation and time available for you to take some great photos.

Next you will be taken around the mountain towards the village of Blackheath and our lunch venue the Boiler House Cafe. Here in this relaxed venue with stunning views, you can enjoy a 2-course lunch with tea or coffee. All diets are catered for (excluding Kosher Meals). Please note that beverages can be purchased at your own expense from the Bar.

The afternoon is spent visiting a selection of lookouts. Once you clap your eyes on the view from Govetts Leap you’ll know why it’s one of the most famous lookouts in Australia. The magnificent waterfall drops a whopping 180m to the base of the cliff. If you’re not mesmerized by the dancing waves of water spray, you’ll be transfixed by the sweeping views down the valley to the Grose Wilderness.

Then take a brief stop to enjoy a glass of sparkling wine or orange juice at the delightful Mt Tomah Botanic Gardens, where you can enjoy the sweeping views across to Sydney before traveling down the Bells Line of Road to arrive back at your hotel approximately 4:30pm.
