Itinerary Details
(Day 1) - International Flight, Los Angeles to Sydney

Travel to Australia on your vacation. After departing from Los Angeles you will be provided with an evening meal. You can relax, have a drink, watch a movie, review your itinerary or just rest. You will be given Breakfast before landing in Sydney, Australia. (You lose one day crossing the International Date Line but don’t worry you catch it up again on your return flight to the USA)

Walk to Circular Quay and catch a ferry to our wonderful harbour-side Taronga Park Zoo, or take the 30 minute ferry ride to Manly Beach, Sydney’s premier beach resort. Here you can enjoy the laid back beach culture as well as many festivals and events. If you prefer to stay closer to downtown Sydney, Bondi Beach is approximately a 10 minute train ride and is one of Australia’s most famous and iconic beaches. Save some time to take a beach walk from Bondi Beach to Bronte Beach, it’s known to be a true highlight. If visiting on a weekend then go to the Rocks Market and shop for local Arts, Crafts & unique Australian Souvenirs.

Ride quad bikes into the outback at an authentic Australian cattle station.

Visit the oldest working cattle station in the Northern Territory while riding your own exciting ATV quad bike. The adventure allows a close-to-nature guided tour with commentary across a cattle station, set below the MacDonnell Ranges. Ride across the ranch and over bush tracks, dry riverbeds, and beside mountain ranges. Wildlife is viewed at close proximity and there are never more than 10 people per group. All bikes are fully automatic and no previous experience or license is necessary. Training and safety information will be provided.

(Day 7) - Tour Pass to include Uluru, the Olgas and Cultural Center

Explore the fascinating surroundings of Australia’s Red Centre.

Sunrise/Morning:
Enjoy tea or coffee and be inspired by an incredible view through stunning desert landscape as the sun rises over Uluru and Kata Tjuta. From the viewing platform it is possible to see way into the distance, providing an ideal photo opportunity. After the amazing sunrise and a relaxing morning tea, you will join a tour around the base of Uluru learning details on its geology and incredible history. Last on the morning tour is a visit to the Mutitjulu Waterhole and the Uluru – Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre.

Sunset/Afternoon:
Your experienced driver guide will give you an overview of the fascinating history of Uluru – Kata Tjuta National Park as you make your way to Walpa Gorge, a lush desert haven for plants and animals. The gentle but rocky track will lead you into a world of rare plant species and lush evergreen shrubs known as Spearwood. Time to head off to the Uluru sunset viewing area. On arrival you’ll be served from a selection of Australian wines and nibbles. Today you will cruise out to the crystal clear waters, beautiful corals and incredible fish life found at the Agincourt Ribbon Reefs located on the very outer edge of the Great Barrier Reef, which is the best possible for boat diving and snorkeling.


Your cruise will include courtesy transfers from the Port Douglas area, Morning and Afternoon tea, cake and fruit platter, Delicious tropical buffet lunch with prawns (very large shrimp), reef interpretation talk, guided snorkel tour with marine naturalist, all snorkel equipment and tuition to include prescription masks, flotation devices, spacious air conditioned bar and saloon area, 3 spectacular reef sites, professional photographer on board.



No problems if you wish to dive. (Days 10 to 11) - Free Days to Explore Port Douglas

Experience the distinctive laid back atmosphere and low-rise tropical old world charm of Port Douglas!

Experience a range of attractions from one of the many galleries to the great shopping districts. Stop for a bite to eat at the Marina Mirage and take a walk on the boardwalk while you’re there. Take a visit to Port Douglas’ first church, Saint Mary’s by the Sea and see fantastic views of the Coral Sea and distant mountains. Don’t forget to soak up the sun at Four Mile Beach or even take in a game of golf.

What ever your tastes happen to be, Port Douglas is a great place to relax and simply enjoy the many great features of this town.

Optional Day Tour (Not Included) - Jungle Surfing

Experience the thrill of Jungle Surfing in the World Renowned Daintree Rainforest.

Spend the day in Tropical Queensland’s World Heritage Daintree Rainforest. Includes the best of Cape Tribulation and the Daintree, with Jungle Surfing, lunch, and guaranteed wildlife spotting.

Begin the day by visiting the Wildlife Habitat. See the endangered cassowary, along with other wildlife, as well as the opportunity to hand-feed kangaroos and wallabies. Have your picture taken with a koala, snake, or crocodile (extra cost). Morning Tea included.

Cross the Daintree River on the Daintree River Cruise spotting Crocodiles, birds and other animals in the wild as you journey through the mangroves. Venture to Alexandra Lookout for magnificent views of the Daintree River and Coral Sea.

Arrive at Cape Tribulation and enjoy a picnic lunch at a picturesque setting before embarking on a fantastic adventure Jungle Surfing. Set in the pristine Daintree rainforest at Cape Tribulation, Jungle Surfing takes you on a unique rainforest tour where your feet don’t touch the ground. Fly through the trees on flying fox ziplines, stopping at tree platforms to take in spectacular bird’s eye views over the treetops. Highly trained abseiling masters and scientist guides will make sure your adventure is exciting, educational, and safe.

A wonderful day awaits as you are transported on the historic Kuranda Scenic Rail to Kuranda. The Kuranda Boarding Pass ensures preferential seating, discounted entry into selected Kuranda Attractions and a detailed map is also included. Rainforestation, set in 40 hectares of lush gardens, is your next stop. Board the amphibious Army Duck and enjoy the Koala & Wildlife Park. Transfer back to Kuranda, then it’s time to board Skyrail for your return journey.



Check in: Our Driver will check you in at your accommodation using our Kuranda Boarding pass, offering pre-allocated seating on the Kuranda Scenic Rail and Skyrail, preferential seating on the Kuranda Scenic Railway, a detailed map of Kuranda, and discounted entry into selected Kuranda Attractions.




Kuranda Scenic Rail : At the scheduled time board the famous Kuranda Scenic Rail. An amazing journey awaits you as you travel one of the world’s most scenic rail routes, through hand-hewn tunnels and over bridges spanning spectacular gorges.

Kuranda Village : Once you arrive at beautiful Kuranda Station, you have ample time to explore the many and varied shops, as well as the Heritage Markets which operate daily.

Rainforestation: Your shuttle coach will transfer you to Rainforestation, set in 40 hectares of lush gardens and tropical rainforest, where a number of unique attractions await you. Board the unusual amphibious Army Duck for a different look at the rainforest. Also included in your tour is the Koala & Wildlife Park. The shuttle bus will then take you back to Kuranda.

Skyrail Rainforest Cableway: Board Skyrail, an experience which takes you over the rainforest canopy with stops along the way allowing you to take a stroll or visit the CSIRO Interpretive Centre. Our hostess will meet you on completion of Skyrail and will assist with your return transfer to your accommodation.

Optional Day Tour (Not Included) - Sail Away to the Low Isles

Today you will enjoy a day to remember with a sail out to the protected Low Isles, an unspoiled coral cay in the Great Barrier Reef. With 4.5 hours to explore the coral cay, white sandy beaches and coconut palms whilst marveling at the coral gardens and the Coral Sea that surround you.


Enjoy the relaxing sail to and from the island as you will be transferred by tender to the island itself which is situated on a large coral platform consisting of a small coral cay, a large mangrove island, mudflats, seagrass beds, and coral reefs. Surrounded by 55 acres of coral reef comprised of 150 species of hard corals and dominated by 15 species of soft corals it is an ideal place for snorkelling.



Living in the blue lagoon are a large variety of reef fish including angelfish, damselfish, anemones, giant trevally, sweetlip, fusiliers and many green turtles are sighted daily. Be sure not to miss out on the Heritage Walk where you can learn about the islands history and environment and visit the lighthouse built in 1878. There are also a number of bird species on which you may encounter including pelicans, honeyeaters, white breasted wood swallows, mangrove kingfishers, reef egrets with sea eagles and ospreys wheeling overhead. Today you’ll have the day free to Explore Brisbane. We suggest you use this opportunity to take in the sights of this beautiful city. Perhaps purchase a few souvenirs for family or friends back home.

Brisbane is a vibrant city with many activities and sights to enjoy all within walking distance from your hotel. Enjoy the shops and festivities at Southbank Parklands (World Expo 1988 was held here) and see Kodak Beach, a large man-made inland beach/pool surrounded by real beach sand, ferns and palm trees. Also experience a living rainforest complete with wildlife in the Southbank Wildlife Sanctuary. Wander the board-walks that follow the river through the city, walk past Kangaroo Point cliffs (watch people rock climb). Ride on a ferry (CityCat) and tour the city from the river (day or night). Cross the river to Brisbane Mall and shop till you drop, or enjoy a coffee in a sidewalk café and watch the world go by.

Iconic O’Reilly’s Rainforest Retreat is situated in the heart of the World Heritage listed Lamington National Park with spectacular panoramic views of the McPherson Ranges. The scenic drive will take us via quaint Tamborine Mountain’s shopping precinct through the township of Canungra, the fertile Canungra Valley and army training grounds before climbing 1000 metres through subtropical rainforest to the scenic Treetop Walk at O’Reilly’s. Enroute we visit the Alpaca Farm with its unique retail outlet and quality alpaca products, finer than cashmere. Along the road, spot pretty faced wallabies, exotic birds and if you are lucky, a koala! Approx 2hrs at O’Reilly’s Plateau.
