Itinerary Details
(Day 1) - International Flight, Los Angeles to Brisbane

Shortly after departing Los Angeles you will be served dinner and you will be given breakfast before landing in Brisbane.

Relax, watch some movies, and try to get some sleep!

Please confirm with the airlines at check-in that they have all your frequent flyer information on record.

(Day 2) - Private Transfer, Brisbane Airport to Accommodation

Travel by private luxury sedan from the Airport to your vacation accommodation in Brisbane, Australia.

A private chauffeur will pick you up upon arrival in Brisbane, Australia. He will be holding a sign with your name on it.

(Days 2 to 4) - 2 Nights Accommodation in Brisbane

Travel to your luxury accommodation in Brisbane, Australia, where you will be staying whilst on vacation for 2 nights.

Your luxury accommodation is conveniently located above Central Station. It is within walking distance to the Queen Street Mall shopping precinct, Treasury Casino, South Bank Parklands, Queensland Performing Arts Centre. Standard services include: 24 hour concierge service, live entertainment, outdoor heated pool, and 24 hour in-room dining as well as currency exchange facilities and cleaning services.

Insiders Tip: Tour of Brisbane by Ferry, Bus & Train - Hop-on Hop-off

Get a ticket on the City Cat Ferry – it’s good for all day & lets you ride bus, train and ferry.


Include Mount Cootha as part of the zones you will cross – you can get off at a ferry stop and take a bus from there to Mount Cootha and take in some great city views. Be sure to do this earlier in the day since the buses stop running out to Mount Cootha later in the day.

Brisbane has a great public transportation system in place and free tours of both the Parliament House and the Botanical Gardens.

Take an informative and entertaining river cruise down the Brisbane River followed by 2.5 hours at The Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary where you can hand feed kangaroos and emus. Yes…and cuddle a koala!

You’ll come face to face with a unique inner-city colony of fruit bats hidden among the mangroves, get up close and personal with Australia’s cuddliest creatures, and see breathtaking modern mansions and historic Queenslander homes along Brisbane’s sought after riverfront. Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary – World’s First & Largest Koala Sanctuary!
Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary opened in 1927 as a safe refuge for sick, injured, and orphaned koalas, at a time when the species was being culled for the fur trade. Founder, Claude Reid, recognized something had to be done to help protect one of Australia’s most iconic species.

Today, Lone Pine remains as a destination for local and international guests to not only see native Australian animals, but to also connect and learn, and to leave feeling inspired to make small, positive changes in their daily lives to help protect their own native wildlife and habitats.

Take a stroll and do some bird watching on the boardwalk but as you enjoy the views don’t forget to stop off at Foreshore Promenade for a bite to eat at the many available restaurants. Access to The Lagoon is easy here which is set overlooking the Barrier Reef and Trinity inlet and features all year free swimming where you can take a dip in this filtered saltwater lagoon. Let the kids can play in the sandy edges and in the shallow waters while you lounge on the semi-shaded timber decks. For the kids, don’t miss out on the Trinity Bay foreshore playground “Muddy” with equipment for all ages. For the older kids, stop off at the Skate Park to see some skaters and BMXers in action! Whether you decide to take a morning jog, fly a kite or just relax in the large grassy areas for some lunch you will surely enjoy the tropical lifestyle!

If you happen to be in Cairns on a Saturday be sure to check out the Weekend Markets which feature only locally made arts and crafts, clothing and much more. While you’re there listen out for the live music and fun street characters. The market gets into full swing on the promenade (just by the lagoon) every Saturday between 8am – 4pm.

Walpa Gorge & Kata Tjuta – An early morning expedition to Walpa Gorge among the dome formations of Kata Tjuta, to discover how eons of weathering and continental upheaval have created today’s landscape. Followed by a visit to the Cultural Centre.

Mala Walk & Kantju Gorge – Journey to the base of Uluru to learn about the history of the Mala people. Marvel at cave paintings, sources of bush tucker and other important sites. Enter Kantju Gorge at dusk to witness the gorge walls illuminated in the vivid evening light, enjoying sunset drinks and canapés in the silence and solitude.

Mutitjulu Meander – Discover the peaceful Mutitjulu Waterhole and the sacred site of Kuniya Piti. During the walk, the Lodge guide shares an Anangu creation story, adding greater depth to the monolith’s striking features.

Optional Day Tour (Not Included) - Helicopter, Harley, and/or Camel Tour

Choose to take a scenic flight by helicopter or enjoy the wind in your face as you travel on a Harley to see Uluru, or if you prefer a slower pace you can ride a camel. Or you can choose to experience it all three ways.

Helicopter Tour – One of the best ways to explorer Ayers Rock is from above. Options from 15 minutes, 30 minutes, or 2 hours; which covers Uluru, Kata Tjuta, Lake Amadeus and Kings Canyon. Either time frame will get you stunning views of the land.

Harley Ride – If you don’t mind traveling on two wheels you may also take a Harley tour of Uluru. This will be an invigorating experience on the back of a late model Heritage Softail Harley. You will be able to truly take in the atmosphere around you.

Camel Ride – Another option will be to cruise at a slow relaxed pace on top of a camel. With you will be an expert guide that will be able to answer any questions as well as give information about wildlife, plant life as well as history around you. The best part is that these tours are right around sunrise or sunset; you will always have stunning scenery.

Optional Day Tour (Not Included) - Walking Tour to Kata Tjuta

Sit back and relax as you travel into the amazing Uluru – Kata Tjuta National Park. The scenery along the way will amaze you and with luck, you may even see some of the local wildlife such as dromedary camels and kangaroos.

On arrival at Kata Tjuta you’ll commence the walk to the Valley of the Winds, heading first to the Karu lookout. With views across the many domes of Kata Tjuta and out into the sacred Anangu men’s area, you’ll be in awe of this natural wonder. Next stop is the Karingana lookout. This walk can be a little challenging, but well worth the effort. It takes you down into a timeless haven within the domes through trickling creek beds. At times of extreme heat the walk may not be available, but will be substituted with an alternative walk. Shorter walks are also available for those not wanting to walk to the second lookout.

As the sun sets over the western horizon you’ll arrive at the Sunset Viewing Area. While sipping on chilled sparkling wine and nibbles you can enjoy the wonder that is a Kata Tjuta sunset. Each passing minute brings something new as the domes continue to change colour with the setting sun.
