With Sydney at your fingertips, take the chance to explore the Darling Harbour area at your leisure, which is a modern collection of Shopping Malls, Parkland, Restaurants and Harbour Front activities.

Walk to Circular Quay and catch a ferry to our wonderful harbour-side Taronga Park Zoo, or take the 30 minute ferry ride to Manly Beach, Sydney’s premier beach resort. Here you can enjoy the laid back beach culture as well as many festivals and events. If you prefer to stay closer to downtown Sydney, Bondi Beach is approximately a 10 minute train ride and is one of Australia’s most famous and iconic beaches. Save some time to take a beach walk from Bondi Beach to Bronte Beach, it’s known to be a true highlight. If visiting on a weekend then go to the Rocks Market and shop for local Arts, Crafts & unique Australian Souvenirs.

Optional Day Tour (Not Included), Sydney Harbour Sailing

Sydney has one of the most famous harbours in the world and sailing is the ultimate way to experience it’s true beauty.

Cruising up Darling Harbour we shortly turn towards the famous Sydney Harbour Bridge, completed in 1932 and is the largest steel arch bridge in the world. The Opera House is upon us and offers the perfect place to take some photographs with such a famous landmark as the backdrop. Continuing our adventure we enter Circular Quay and see the Rocks, birthplace of British settlement and where convict labor constructions are easily visible. Continuing past Farm Cove and Mrs. Macquaries Chair on our right and Fort Denison on the left.

You will sail past the traditionally wealthy suburbs of Sydney viewing the spectacular private homes at Darling Point, Point Piper and Vaucluse and the national parks of Clarke and Shark Islands. These are perfect spots to return another day and enjoy a picnic.

We have the opportunity to cast a fishing line or take a swim. As we enter Spring Cove on North Head we go back in time as little has changed since Captain Phillip was attacked by Aborigines in 1790, now this lovely quiet beach is surrounded by natural bushland, the peaceful atmosphere enhanced by the sound of a small waterfall cascading over rocks or the laughter of a Kookaburra in the trees.

Settle down to enjoy a delicious lunch of prawns, sushi, chicken, ham, salad, pasta, bread. With a glass of Australian wine and beer relaxation takes over and a desert of fruit and cheese makes it almost impossible to leave at about 1.45pm.

Optional Day Tour (Not Included), Hot Air Ballooning

Hot-air ballooning over Sydney and the Blue Mountains includes Champagne & Breakfast. Sydney City Hotel pick-up and drop-off is an additional fee.

Look out one side of the basket and the Blue Mountains are at your feet, look out the other side… and on a clear day, the Sydney skyline and harbour glisten in the distance. Look below and be amazed that such green rolling fields are in such close proximity to the city. A truly spectacular experience. Departure is early morning.

Optional Day Tour (Not Included), Luxury Hunter Valley Wine Tour

Enjoy touring through the scenic regions to Hunter Valley, wine tasting at boutique wineries, a gourmet lunch experience, cheese, olive oil and chocolate tasting then sit back and snooze on the way home!

Your informative and knowledgeable guide will collect you from your Sydney hotel. Departing from the city, we travel north over the Sydney Harbour Bridge via the Gore Hill Freeway to join the Pacific Highway and then the F3 freeway. We will travel directly to the Hunter Valley, which is nestled in the lee of the Great Dividing Range. Enroute we will stop for a short restroom visit.

180 years young, this is Australia’s oldest and best-known wine region and is soaked in history. It’s a dynamic and fascinating area that brims with over 150 top class wineries, 65 indulgent restaurants as well as gourmet produce and boutique breweries. Our first visit is to a 5-star winery nestled in the Mount View region of the Hunter Valley, a well renowned viticulture area. Sample exquisite wines in your own private area.

From here we continue onto Leogate Estate. This opulent cellar door is the perfect place to enjoy that unique taste which only the Hunter Valley and their award-winning wines can provide. All wines produced from the great vines of one of the most highly regarded vineyards in Australia. Here we will enjoy a selection of cheeses to accompany the wine tasting, followed by a tour of the onsite winery to learn of the wine making process.

On conclusion of the tour, we enjoy a relaxing 2 course lunch (selection of platters, followed by dessert of choice) accompanied by a glass of wine. Further beverages can be purchased at own expense.

After lunch we travel to Keith Tulloch Winery. This small completely family owned winery and vineyard produces wines that express the unique terrain and climate from the ancient soils of the Brokenback Range. Here we will enjoy a unique wine tasting experience in collaboration with artisan chocolatier “Cocoa Nib”. You will sample five handmade praline chocolates, matched to the wineries current release wine – a sensational way to conclude our day in the Hunter Valley Wine Region.

From here we commence our return to Sydney to arrive back at your hotels approximately 5:00 – 5:30pm.

Departs: Monday through Friday.
