• Nerada Tea Rooms Nerada Visitor Centre serves beverages and snacks. It also sells merchandise related to tea and the Nerada brand. Tours around the factory and a viewing platform to see the plantation. There are also Lumholtz’s Tree Kangaroos that live in the surrounding trees.
• Malanda Falls The Malanda Falls are part of the waterfalls and volcanic craters circuit on the Atherton Tablelands. They are known as Tutamonlin by the traditional owners of the area, Ngadjon-Jii. There is an information centre at the falls, which are within the Malanda Falls Conservation Park.

• Another endangered animal that can be found in the rainforest areas of the Atherton Tablelands is the Lumholtz Tree Kangaroo.

Snorkeling is the easiest way to discover the Great Barrier Reef, it is as simple as breathing. If you have never snorkeled before, don’t worry, a briefing is held on board, explaining how to put and use the snorkeling gear. The Ngadiku Dreamtime Walk is lead by an Aboriginal guide from the Mossman Gorge Cultural Centre who will guide you along a private rainforest track sharing Dreamtime stories, how the Kuku Yalanji people lived in this environment and more. Demonstrating traditional plant use, identifying bush food and traditions like making soaps and ochre paint.

The Melbourne City Circle Tram travels a rectangular route along Flinders, Spring, LaTrobe and Spencer Streets right around the Melbourne city centre.

Not only is travel completely free on the City Circle Tram but you get a running commentary on the places of interest along its route. You can get off the tram at any of its stops, so you can visit particular attractions at close hand, and catch the next one.

Trams run in both directions every 12 minutes, seven days a week between 10am and 6pm (except Christmas Day and Good Friday), and during daylight-saving extended hours, 10am to 9pm every Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Alternatively, there is a Free Tram Zone for all trams operating in Melbourne’s CBD. These free trams do not offer on-board commentary but are a convenient way to get around the city.

Your full day tour of Kangaroo Island begins with morning tea and home-made cakes before taking a walk down a country track through tall Eucalyptus trees. Spot koalas snoozing overhead or perhaps as they wake briefly for a feed.

Second Valley Heritage Walk
Starting at the historic Leonards Mill in Second Valley, this self-guided heritage walk is brimming with fascinating history. Download a copy of the brochure beforehand, which complements the onsite information display boards.
As you walk, soak up the story of Leonards Mill which was formerly an operational flour mill, the old Finniss Vale Hotel which was established in 1856 and burned down in 1928, as well as the blacksmith’s shop and cottage and various war memorials.

The walk also passes by the site of two old steam-operated sawmills, and explains the history of the heritage-listed causeway and jetty. Allow 2 Hours.

Normanville
Known affectionately to locals as ‘Normy’, Normanville is a popular seaside resort town with long sandy beaches. Stroll along the white sands to nearby Carrickalinga or Lady Bay. Take a walk down Main Streets and check out the local shops. If you’re missing American comfort food, try South Bound Diner for an Australian take on Retro American Diner food. A few blocks down the street look for a HUGE tree and you might just spot thousands of cockatoos!

Aldinga Beach
Aldinga Beach is one of the few beaches in Australia where cars are permitted to drive on sections of the broad sand, making access to the beach especially easy. It is renowned for its safe swimming and impressive surf, which sees the population in the local area boom come summer.

The D’arenberg Cube
The d’Arenberg Cube in McLaren Vale is a five storey multi-function building set among Mourvèdre vines.

The building has the optical illusion of floating in a vineyard, each level with spectacular views overlooking the rolling hills of Willunga. Inside is the winery’s Tasting Room, a restaurant, private function areas and numerous artworks and features throughout, detailed in the company’s new smart phone application, ‘The Alternate Realities Museum’
