Days 2 to 5 - 3 Nights Accommodation in Brisbane

Soak in a panoramic vista of Brisbane City from the Wheel of Brisbane, or for those who are a little more adventurous the Story Bridge Climb will take you 262m feet above sea level for the ultimate view.

When it comes to shopping Brisbane offers a number of options including the Queen Street Mall and Fortitude Valley, with an extensive assortment of retail and entertainment stores. Treasury Casino is not far from the hotel, with some great shows and restaurants.

Discover the Eagle Street Pier with its collection of restaurants, bars and cafés, is a great place to eat and enjoy the scenery. Home also to the Riverside Craft Markets, held each Sunday, you can meet up with friends to share a meal before taking a walk along the pier and browsing the local crafts on showcase.

Day 3 - Day Tour, River Cruise and Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary

Take an informative and entertaining river cruise down the Brisbane River followed by 3 hours at a koala sanctuary where you can hand feed kangaroos and emus.

Day 4 - Free Day to Explore Brisbane

Today you’ll have the day free to Explore Brisbane. We suggest you use this opportunity to take in the sights of this beautiful city. Perhaps purchase a few souvenirs for family or friends back home.

Brisbane is a vibrant city with many activities and sights to enjoy within walking distance from your hotel. Visit the South Bank precinct, full of fantastic riverside restaurants, home of renowned art galleries including the Gallery of Modern Art and Queensland Museum, sky-high views from The Wheel of Brisbane, as well as parklands that feature family friendly urban beach pools with expansive city views. Experience the beauty of Brisbane from the river CityCat ferries, and hop on and off at riverside neighborhoods such as the cultural Powerhouse precinct, and festive dining and beverages found at the new Howard Smith Wharves precinct. A must see for all visitors to Brisbane, Mt Coot-tha’s “Brisbane Lookout” offers spectacular panoramic views over the city all the way to Moreton Bay. Walking tracks are abundant through the National Park and the Lookout itself showcases a historical timeline of this iconic destination.

Optional Day Tour (Not Included) - Dolphin Viewing and Day Cruise with Whale Watching

Marvel at the annual migration each June to October of humpback whales as they journey some 10,000 miles from Antarctica along the east coast of Australia. These acrobats of the ocean pass by Moreton Island, often with their newborn calves, creating one of the greatest spectacles of the sea. Your Whale Watch crew will explain the habits and characteristics of migrating whales and serve a light, delicious lunch on board.

Whale watching is seasonal. Children are required to be 6 and older to participate in snorkeling. Some of the activities and tours are physically demanding and may pose a health or safety risk. Optional Day Tour (Not Included), Brisbane Laneways & Cafes Walking Tour (3 hrs)

Brisbane laneways and streets are full of cafes and restaurants, over 1,500 at last count, but go to any city and the best coffee is never on the main street. This private tour lead by a local in the know is a wonderful way to spend an afternoon!

This walk is a tasting tour of the City Centre coffee scene.  You’ll stop at selected laneway cafes, chat to passionate baristas, learn about coffee and of course, enjoy some coffee (tea, chai latte, iced chocolate.) and tasty little bites.  Instagram heaven!

On this relaxed tour you’ll also pick up some great tips on eating and drinking from Brisbanites who know every cool bar and café in town. As you walk, you’ll also see some of Brisbane’s amazing little street art. The tour ends at a laneway cafe/bar before the office workers are out – a great place to meet some locals!

Insider's Tip: The Esplanade in Cairns

Experience the leisurely atmosphere at the playground for locals and tourists alike at The Esplanade in Cairns!

With so many activities available The Esplanade has always been a focal point for this city. This is a place that literally has everything! Take a stroll and do some bird watching on the boardwalk but as you enjoy the views don’t forget to stop off at Foreshore Promenade for a bite to eat at the many available restaurants. Access to The Lagoon is easy here which is set overlooking the Barrier Reef and Trinity inlet and features all year free swimming where you can take a dip in this filtered saltwater lagoon. Let the kids can play in the sandy edges and in the shallow waters while you lounge on the semi-shaded timber decks. For the kids, don’t miss out on the Trinity Bay foreshore playground “Muddy” with equipment for all ages. For the older kids, stop off at the Skate Park to see some skaters and BMXers in action! Whether you decide to take a morning jog, fly a kite or just relax in the large grassy areas for some lunch you will surely enjoy the tropical lifestyle!

If you happen to be in Cairns on a Saturday be sure to check out the Weekend Markets which feature only locally made arts and crafts, clothing and much more. While you’re there listen out for the live music and fun street characters. The market gets into full swing on the promenade (just by the lagoon) every Saturday between 8am – 4pm.

Day 10 - Day Tour, Sydney Opera House Tour (1 Hour)

On your vacation, participate in an inspiring tour of the Sydney Opera House.

This one hour tour outlines the intricate and controversial history of the Sydney Opera House along with details of the unique design of this architectural masterpiece. You will visit a number of the six performance venues, including the magnificent wood paneled Concert Hall and the Opera Theater as well as the new Utzon room. You will also visit the glass enclosed northern foyer areas which boast spectacular views of Sydney Harbour – a perfect photo opportunity.

Need to Know
This tour has 300+ stairs – Low Impact. With Sydney at your fingertips, take the chance to explore the Darling Harbour area at your leisure, which is a modern collection of Shopping Malls, Parkland, Restaurants and Harbour Front activities.

Walk to Circular Quay and catch a ferry to our wonderful harbour-side Taronga Park Zoo, or take the 30 minute ferry ride to Manly Beach, Sydney’s premier beach resort. Here you can enjoy the laid back beach culture as well as many festivals and events. If you prefer to stay closer to downtown Sydney, Bondi Beach is approximately a 10 minute train ride and is one of Australia’s most famous and iconic beaches. Save some time to take a beach walk from Bondi Beach to Bronte Beach, it’s known to be a true highlight. If visiting on a weekend then go to the Rocks Market and shop for local Arts, Crafts & unique Australian Souvenirs.

Your first stop is Echo Point, the closest and best view of the Three Sisters. You will be able to witness the blue haze and the vast expanse of the Jamison Valley.

Visit Scenic World and start your adventure on Scenic Skyway. Experience the thrill of walking on air with a see through glass floor showing views of the valley 200m below. Dare yourself to ride the steepest railway in the world, with an incline of 52 degrees the Mountain Devil is suitable for people of all ages. Insider's Tip: Pylon Museum and Lookout - Bridgeclimb Alternative

See the fantastic views of the city, the harbour and the world famous icon – the Sydney Harbour Bridge! This is a wonderful alternative if you do not wish to climb the bridge.

Access is via the pedestrian pathway on the Eastern side of the Bridge from the city side (use the Bridge Stairs in Cumberland Street, The Rocks). There are 200 stairs to the Lookout, but on the way up there are 3 levels of exhibits where you will discover the history and construction of the Bridge, the men who built it, and the vision of JJC Bradfield, chief engineer

At the end of (or even before) your visit to the Museum, enjoy the scenery and walk across the Sydney Harbour Bridge. The walk to the North side of Sydney will take approximately 15-20 minutes from the Pylon.
