This small group walking tour lets you experience the best of what Melbourne offers. Relax with a coffee at one of Melbourne’s best cafes, eat authentic Chinese dumplings, sneak in a sweet treat and finish it off with a drink on a rooftop bar with a view.

As you explore Melbourne’s laneways you’ll learn about the city’s fascinating past and incredible present with commentary from your expert guide, a passionate local in the know of Melbourne’s secret hot spots.

Day 3 - Day Tour, Phillip Island Small Group with Penguins Plus

Phillip Island is home to an astounding array of wildlife, including Australia’s largest fur seal colony, little penguins and cuddly koalas. Get up close with the remarkable penguins and wildlife of Phillip Island.

Your unforgettable day will commence with a visit to Moonlit Sanctuary Conservation Park where you are guaranteed plenty of close encounters with an array of Australian native animals like kangaroos, wombats and echidnas.

Next stop is Phillip Island where, time/season permitting, you’ll drive to Woolamai Surf Beach to catch a glimpse of the awesome waves and die-hard surfers. Following this, you then travel over to the dramatic west coast of the island. At the Nobbies, you will stroll along the boardwalk to experience the waves crashing along this dramatic coastline and perhaps spot a few seals and some penguin nests.

Finally, your Phillip Island Day Tour is not complete without its black-tie gala event: the Penguin Parade. You will first head to the Visitor Center for a chance to shop and have a coffee. Then last but certainly not least, you will meander along the boardwalk to the viewing platform. It’s time to relax and let the show begin. The little penguins will waddle ashore, decked out in their tuxedos as they hurry off to find their burrows.

At the end of the evening, your Guide will take you back to your Melbourne hotel.

Today you’ll have the day free to Explore Melbourne City’s vast shopping centres, markets and boutiques, maybe do some souvenir shopping.

Melbourne is a Multicultural City boasting many boutique cafes, wineries and extensive shopping. You’ll also find it very easy to get around on the trains and trams, especially within the inners of Melbourne.

Insider's Tip: Melbourne City Circle Tram

The Melbourne City Circle Tram travels a rectangular route along Flinders, Spring, LaTrobe and Spencer Streets right around the Melbourne city centre.

Not only is travel completely free on the City Circle Tram but you get a running commentary on the places of interest along its route. You can get off the tram at any of its stops, so you can visit particular attractions at close hand, and catch the next one.

Trams run in both directions every 12 minutes, seven days a week between 10am and 6pm (except Christmas Day and Good Friday), and during daylight-saving extended hours, 10am to 9pm every Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Alternatively, there is a Free Tram Zone for all trams operating in Melbourne’s CBD. These free trams do not offer on-board commentary but are a convenient way to get around the city.

Day 6 - Day Tour, Great Barrier Reef Cruise with Snorkeling

Today you’ll cruise onboard a luxury vessel to the Great Barrier Reef, one of the natural wonders of the world, and not surprisingly the world’s most extensive coral reef.

The reef being just a few meters away from the waters surface, you will be able to explore all these wonders just by floating at the surface. Relax, breathe in your snorkel and be ready to discover a multitude of fishes, corals and other wildlife populating the reef.





Snorkeling is the easiest way to discover the Great Barrier Reef, it is as simple as breathing. If you have never snorkeled before, don’t worry, a briefing is held on board, explaining how to put and use the snorkelling gear. All of the snorkeling equipment you will require is supplied as part of your trip, including a wetsuit or stinger suit. Prescription masks are also available upon request.

Your trip out to the reef will take just 90 minutes, with five hours spent on the outer reef. We’ll select two of the best Great Barrier Reef snorkelling sites. These are chosen on a daily basis by the vessel Captains for the best variety and visibility according to the weather conditions.

There are 17 exclusive moorings on the Outer Great Barrier Reef at Norman, Saxon and Hastings reefs. This tour operator uses a wide variety of these to ensure a minimal environmental impact to the pristine coral formations we visit. The dive sites are frequented by myriads of tropical and Palegic Fish, Rays, Turtles, (friendly) Sharks and the ever popular diver friendly Maori Wrasse. There are swim throughs, wall and drift dives that will appeal to every level of diver experience.

Day 7 - Day Tour, Kuranda Rainforestation with Lunch - Full Day

A wonderful day awaits as you are transported on the historic Kuranda Scenic Rail through tunnels and across bridges to the famous village in the rainforest – Kuranda. Rainforestation, set in 40 hectares of lush gardens, is your next stop. Board the amphibious Army Duck and enjoy the Koala & Wildlife Park before having a BBQ lunch. Transfer back to Kuranda, then it’s time to board Skyrail for an amazing journey over and through the World Heritage Rainforest.

Trade your voucher for a Kuranda Boarding pass, offering pre-allocated seating on the Kuranda Scenic Rail and Skyrail, preferential seating on the Kuranda Scenic Railway, a detailed map of Kuranda, and discounted entry into selected Kuranda Attractions.

Kuranda Scenic Rail : At the scheduled time board the famous Kuranda Scenic Rail. An amazing journey awaits you as you travel one of the world’s most scenic rail routes, through hand-hewn tunnels and over bridges spanning spectacular gorges.

Kuranda Village : Once you arrive at beautiful Kuranda Station, you have ample time to explore the many and varied shops, as well as the Heritage Markets which boast a full array of colorful and interesting arts and crafts. You might also like to visit Birdworld, the Australian Butterfly Sanctuary or Kuranda Koala Gardens [at own expense].

Rainforestation : Your shuttle coach will transfer you to Rainforestation, set in 40 hectares of lush gardens and tropical rainforest, where a number of unique attractions await you. Board the unusual amphibious Army Duck for a different look at the rainforest. Also included in your tour is the Koala & Wildlife Park. The shuttle bus will then take you back to Kuranda.

Skyrail Rainforest Cableway: At the scheduled time, make your way directly to the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway boarding line – there is no need to queue as your tickets are already on your Boarding Pass. Once aboard, be amazed as you journey over and through World Heritage protected Rainforest – an iconic rainforest experience that includes time at spectacular lookouts at Red Peak and Barron Falls stations. Or visit the Rainforest Interpretation Centre. Complimentary guided boardwalk tours are offered throughout the day at Red Peak Station. Access to The Lagoon is easy here which is set overlooking the Barrier Reef and Trinity inlet and features all year free swimming where you can take a dip in this filtered saltwater lagoon. Let the kids can play in the sandy edges and in the shallow waters while you lounge on the semi-shaded timber decks. For the kids, don’t miss out on the Trinity Bay foreshore playground “Muddy” with equipment for all ages. For the older kids, stop off at the Skate Park to see some skaters and BMXers in action! Whether you decide to take a morning jog, fly a kite or just relax in the large grassy areas for some lunch you will surely enjoy the tropical lifestyle!

If you happen to be in Cairns on a Saturday be sure to check out the Weekend Markets which feature only locally made arts and crafts, clothing and much more. If you prefer to stay closer to downtown Sydney, Bondi Beach is approximately a 10 minute train ride and is one of Australia’s most famous and iconic beaches. Save some time to take a beach walk from Bondi Beach to Bronte Beach, it’s known to be a true highlight. If visiting on a weekend then go to the Rocks Market and shop for local Arts, Crafts & unique Australian Souvenirs.

The Blue Mountains Deluxe Day is a real journey into the heart of a unique World Heritage Region. From temperate rainforests to towering sandstone escarpments, you’ll see and experience it all. Let the landscape work its wonders and become part of you for a lifetime.

Upon departing from the city, you will travel directly to the Blue Mountains and your first stop of the day is at Calmsley Hill Farm a working farm also home to Kangaroo, Emu, Wombat and Koala. Enjoy morning tea and time to wander at leisure.

From Calmsley Hill you will continue to ascend the Blue Mountains via the highway. Visit one of a range of stunning outlooks of the Jamison Valley seeing beautiful vistas. Where possible this will be away from the crowds of tours that visit the mountains each day with other operators, thus you will have the opportunity to enjoy a stress and hurry free environment taking in the views and information imparted by your guide.

Continuing on you will arrive at Eaglehawk Lookout, a remote lookout points away from the crowds for views of the famous 3 Sisters. Whilst the Blue Mountains features so much more than this natural attraction you can’t help but admire the unquestionable beauty of this amazing rock formation. The character of the Three Sisters changes throughout the day and throughout the seasons as the sunlight brings out the magnificent colors. Here your guide will discuss the legends behind this famous rock formation and time available for you to take some great photos.

Next you will be taken around the mountain towards the village of Blackheath and our lunch venue the Boiler House Cafe. Here in this relaxed venue with stunning views, you can enjoy a 2-course lunch with tea or coffee. All diets are catered for (excluding Kosher Meals). Please note that beverages can be purchased at your own expense from the Bar.

The afternoon is spent visiting a selection of lookouts. Once you clap your eyes on the view from Govetts Leap you’ll know why it’s one of the most famous lookouts in Australia. The magnificent waterfall drops a whopping 180m to the base of the cliff. If you’re not mesmerized by the dancing waves of water spray, you’ll be transfixed by the sweeping views down the valley to the Grose Wilderness.

Then take a brief stop to enjoy a glass of sparkling wine or orange juice at the delightful Mt Tomah Botanic Gardens, where you can enjoy the sweeping views across to Sydney before traveling down the Bells Line of Road to arrive back at your hotel approximately 4:30pm.

The McGuigan family are respected pioneers of the industry and at their cellar door you’ll be greeted warmly and welcomed to a tasting of their fine wines.

Finish the day at Roche Estate, where you’ll have free time to explore the shops offering Australian cheeses at the Smelly Cheese Shop and gourmet delights plus coffee, gelato, craft beer and cellar doors (own expense).

Insider's Tip: Pylon Museum and Lookout

See the fantastic views of the city, the harbour and the world famous icon – the Sydney Harbour Bridge! This is a wonderful alternative if you do not wish to climb the bridge.

Access is via the pedestrian pathway on the Eastern side of the Bridge from the city side (use the Bridge Stairs in Cumberland Street, The Rocks). There are 200 stairs to the Lookout, but on the way up there are 3 levels of exhibits where you will discover the history and construction of the Bridge, the men who built it, and the vision of JJC Bradfield, chief engineer

At the end of (or even before) your visit to the Museum, enjoy the scenery and walk across the Sydney Harbour Bridge. The walk to the North side of Sydney will take approximately 15-20 minutes from the Pylon.
