(Days 1 to 3) - 2 Nights Accommodation in Sydney

Travel to your accommodation in Sydney, Australia, where you will be staying whilst on vacation for 2 nights in your studio room apartment.

Just 30 minutes from Sydney Airport, your accommodation is conveniently located between Darling Harbour and the Sydney CBD.

The friendly staff at your accommodation can attend to your every need with 24 hour guest reception. Enjoy a scrumptious breakfast at their signature restaurant.

Relax in a stylish and comfortable haven whilst being in close proximity to shopping at Westfield’s Pitt St Mall and Darling Harbour. Don’t forget to take a stroll down Pitt St towards Circular Quay to take in more of Sydney’s world famous sites- like the Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge.

Reach new heights and climb the famous Harbour Bridge in Sydney!

Achieve exhilaration and personal satisfaction as you climb the Sydney Harbour Bridge. For approximately 3.5 hours you and 11 other eager climbers will join a climb guide and weave through catwalks, climb up ladders and then arrive at the most spectacular point of all – the upper arch climb. The steady incline to the upper arch leaves you free to focus your attention on your Sydney experience, with opportunities for 360 degree views of Sydney, including east to the ocean, west to the mountains and the harbor city surrounds.

It is at this point that you not only have a bird’s eye view of the beautiful Sydney Harbour and the city, but have the exhilarating and rewarding experience of reaching the top of the iconic Harbour Bridge.

When you reach the top you will have a sense of achievement you’ll remember forever – you’ve conquered an Australian icon recognized the world over! No other Sydney tourist attraction can give you this feeling of standing at the top of the world, with the harbor spread before you.

All climbers will be issued a complimentary photograph of your climb group.

Operates:
Daily, in all weather conditions (except in cases of extreme weather conditions like electrical storms or high winds).

Need to Know:
– Wear comfortable, enclosed rubber-soled shoes and comfortable clothing;
– Secure lockers will be provided to store your personal belongings;
– No cameras, phones, GoPros or other video and mobile devices are allowed on the climb;
– Children ages 8 – 15 must be accompanied by an adult. Children younger than 8 are not permitted on the climb;
– Maximum of 14 people per group.

Times:
The climb lasts approximately 3.5 hours. Climbs are available at dawn (limited departures), day, twilight or night.

On your vacation, participate in an inspiring tour of the Sydney Opera House.

This one hour tour outlines the intricate and controversial history of the Sydney Opera House along with details of the unique design of this architectural masterpiece. You will visit a number of the six performance venues, including the magnificent wood paneled Concert Hall and the Opera Theater as well as the new Utzon room. You will also visit the glass enclosed northern foyer areas which boast spectacular views of Sydney Harbour – a perfect photo opportunity.

Need to Know
This tour has 300+ stairs – Low Impact. It is strongly encouraged that you leave bags at your hotel and avoid bringing any large items to the Opera House (anything larger than an 8×10″ sheet of paper). No luggage or large bags accepted. Videoing is not allowed. There are plenty of photo opportunities — your tour guide will advise you if photos are not to be taken at any point.

(Days 3 to 5) - Car Rental, The Grand Pacific Drive & Kangaroo Valley

Discover Australia as you travel by rental car for three days.

As part of your vacation self-drive Australia and explore our stunning landscapes, coastlines, regional towns and wildlife. Stop and meet the locals, maybe enjoy a counter meal at a local Aussie pub, or relax on the beach while sampling some takeaway fish & chips from the local deli or servo. During one of your rest stops try to spot a kangaroo, emu or even a Koala in the wild.

Please bring a valid American drivers license with you and be aware that the Australians drives on the left hand side of the road.

(Days 3 to 5) - Self Drive - Grand Pacific Drive, New South Wales - 3 Days / 2 Nights

The Grand Pacific Drive is a remarkable 3 Day / 2 Night self-drive along the beautiful east coast of New South Wales beginning in Sydney. This is truly a spectacular self drive through rainforests, seaside communities, the lush green countryside and also the marvelous Sea Cliff Bridge.

Day 1: Sydney to Wollongong (approx 1.5 hrs drive)

Sydney / Royal National Park: Depart Sydney and drive south through the majestic Royal National Park. Within the park, be sure to make a stop at Garie Beach for some spectacular scenery. Royal National Park / Helensburgh: Just south of the Royal National Park is Helensburgh and Symbio Wildlife Gardens. Here you can hand feed and cuddle all sorts of furry and feathered creatures. Helensburgh / Stanwell Park: Visit Stanwell Park, in a pristine location overlooking the ocean, a few minutes south of Helensburgh. Stop off at Bald Hill, world renowned for hang gliders and amazing sea views. You can even try hang gliding if you’re feeling up for it! Stanwell Park / Austinmer: Continue on south and you will cross over the remarkable Sea Cliff Bridge. This amazing work of engineering hugs the coastline and hangs over the ocean. Then stop into Austinmer, with its café’s, Austinmer Beach and the ocean baths, this is truly a remarkable place to see. Austinmer / Wollongong: Upon reaching Wollongong, you will find this is a carefree university town. Check out the “Gong’s” nightlife, with many pubs and clubs to choose from. Stay in Wollongong.

Day 2: Wollongong to Kangaroo Valley (via Kiama and Nowra) (approx 1.5 hrs)

Wollongong: Find a seaside café or dip your feet in one of the many beautiful beaches that Wollongong has to offer. There are many sightseeing opportunities in Wollongong. Take a stroll to one of the lighthouses, visit Nan Tien Temple or enjoy the Illawarra Fly Treetop Walk before heading south to Jamberoo. Wollongong / Jamberoo: Wonderful Jamberoo awaits you. Visit Shellharbour for coffee or take a leisurely walk on a coastal walking track. Budderoo National Park is home to Minnamurra Rainforest which is a great place for birdwatching, ask about the Lyrebird. You can also visit the Jamberoo Action Park which is a water park full of fun for all ages, or try canoeing on the Minnamurra River. Jamberoo / Nowra (via Kiama): Kiama towne centre is full of cafés and restaurants. Maybe see the lighthouse, but be sure not to miss the Kiama Blowhole. Continue on to Shoalhaven and be sure to grab a bite at a local seafood restaurant. Nowra is home to the Fleet Air Arm Museum, be sure to stop in and take the tour. Nowra to Kangaroo Valley: From Nowra you will head back north towards Kangaroo Valley. This is a historic, landscaped valley, home to the Kangaroo River. Bushwalks, cafes, pubs and galleries are all available to you in this beautiful village. Kangaroo Valley sits between the Barrengarry and Cambewarra Mountains. Here you will find remnants of old rainforests and lush, dramatic scenery. The Hampden Bridge and Pioneer Farm Museum are just a few of the experiences awaiting you at Kangaroo Valley. Stay in Kangaroo Valley.

Day 3: Kangaroo Valley to Sydney (via Moss Vale and Campbelltown): (approx 2hrs)

Kangaroo Valley / Moss Vale: Today you will leisurely make your way back to Sydney. Your first stop is Moss Vale, a quaint village nestled amongst the green rolling hills of the Southern Highlands. Enjoy some delicious food and wine at either Eling Forest or Southern Highlands Wines. Moss Vale / Sydney (via Campbelltown): Campbelltown offers so much to do and see before you reach Sydney. The Campbelltown Arts Centre allows you to relax and enjoy the beautiful works of art they have gathered from all over. Next to the centre is the Japanese Teahoues and Garden, including a Sculpture Garden. Take the Campbelltown Heritage Walk to learn about this beautiful town’s history and heritage sites. Continue onto Sydney.
