Kangaroo Sanctuary [ASP45]
Day Tour - Kangaroo Sanctuary

The Kangaroo Sanctuary is the home of Brolga, star of ‘Kangaroo Dundee’ – BBC/Nat Geo Series. The Sanctuary is a 90 acre wildlife reserve of untouched bush-land where Brolga’s mob of 25 kangaroos live.

Enjoy a guided sunset tour of Brolga’s 90 acre wildlife reserve and his kangaroo family as seen on ‘Kangaroo Dundee’. Experience a leisurely walk through the bush as the kangaroos wake from their day-time sleep and become active and playful. If you’re lucky, you may even get to hold a baby kangaroo! The Sanctuary is a place to celebrate the beauty, and learn about the care of, the red kangaroo, an Australian icon.

Need to Know Please wear closed shoes and bring water. Kangaroos scare easily, so we ask that visitors please keep noise to a minimum and keep to the path. Children under 5 are to be carried by adults. Wheeled equipment such as strollers can’t be taken on the walk around the sanctuary because it scares the kangaroos away. Please note the sanctuary will be closed December – January and reopens in February.
