Day 3 - Day Tour, Great Barrier Reef Cruise and Glass Bottom Boat

Experience a range of attractions from one of the many galleries to the great shopping districts. Stop for a bite to eat at the Marina Mirage and take a walk on the boardwalk while you’re there. Take a visit to Port Douglas’ first church, Saint Mary’s by the Sea and see fantastic views of the Coral Sea and distant mountains. Don’t forget to soak up the sun at Four Mile Beach or even take in a game of golf.

What ever your tastes happen to be, Port Douglas is a great place to relax and simply enjoy the many great features of this town.

Day 4 - Day Tour, Cape Tribulation & Daintree Wilderness Safari - Full Day

Enjoy a day exploring the rainforest and amazing landscapes of the Cape Tribulation wilderness area with a visit to Mossman Gorge Center and Cape Tribulation.



Mossman Gorge Centre: Visit the Mossman Gorge Gateway Centre for morning tea before boarding your shuttle for the transfer into Mossman Gorge. Your driver/guide will take you for a guided walk, sharing their knowledge of this enchanting rainforest environment. Learn about the fascinating secrets of one of the world’s oldest tropical rainforests.



Daintree River Cruise: Reach an understanding of this wildlife environment for one hour, habitat of birds, tree snakes, unique plants and of course the estuarine crocodile.

Zinc’s relaxed lounge bar features a large range of wines by the glass, over 70 cocktails, as well as over 110 spirits, liqueurs and a selection of cold beers on tap…perfect for that pre-dinner drink or after-dinner nightcap.

Zinc, a unique combination of restaurant, cafe and lounge, is located in the Portico Building on the corner of Macrossan & Davidson Streets. Day 6 - Australian Domestic Flight, Cairns to Ayers Rock

Insider's Tip: Visit the Rainforest Habitat

Visit four environments and experience a cacophony of wildlife all at once at the Wildlife Habitat Animal Sanctuary located at the entrance of Port Douglas.

Situated on eight acres of land, the park recreates four very unique environments that allow you to see various and numerous species through meandering boardwalks.

Enter through the Savannah, a new habitat offering an opportunity to wander amongst the beautifully rich colored birds of northern Australian open woodlands. Check out the Wetlands where you can view wading birds as they forage for fish beneath the boardwalks, along with marsupials, fruit bats and other bird species.

Come hungry and have the original “Breakfast with the Birds” (extra cost) which will tempt you with a delicious breakfast buffet, juices, exotic tropical fruit selection and bottomless tea and coffee. Watch the clock and make sure to be on time for the Koala Photos (extra cost).

Stop off at the Presentation Hut where you can meet up close with various reptiles, including pythons and crocodiles (check times). If you get hungry stop off at the Cafe where meals and snacks are available or have “Lunch with the Lorikeets” (extra cost).

View the native species of the Wet Tropics at the Rainforest with such animals as the endangered Southern Cassowary, Boyd’s Forest Dragon and colorful Eclectus parrots. Interact and hand feed Queensland’s largest range of kangaroos and wallabies at the Grasslands. Double check the lagoons where the crocodiles are lurking beneath the murky waters or basking on the sunlit banks.

Sunrise/Morning
The early rise is well worth it as you experience the two major landmarks in Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park.

Start with an amazing sunrise at Talinguru Nyakunytjaku, the Uluru sunrise viewing area. Afterwards, on the 45 kms drive to Kata Tjuta your Driver Guide will provide you with an historical overview of the National Park.

The walk through the sheer walls of Walpa Gorge won’t disappoint as you’re led into a world of rare plant species and lush evergreen scrubs.

Sunset/Afternoon
Talk a short walk at the base of Uluru with your Driver Guide and view ancient paintings and hear stories of traditional Anangu life.

Then head off to the Uluru sunset viewing area. On arrival you’ll be served from a selection of Australian wines and nibbles.

You can just sit and relax or stroll around the area to find your own personal space to watch an amazing outback sunset.

In this incredible experience, come face to face with a friendly ‘Outback’ Australian camel as you ride away from the crowds and ride through the red sand dunes to Uluru. Learn about the local flora and fauna as your skilled guide shares insights into the landscape around you. Take in spectacular views of the everchanging reds and oranges of Uluru as the sun begins to set.

Travel to your Sydney Accommodation where you will stay for 3 nights.

Nestled in the heart of Sydney’s CBD, your hotel is an easy walk to many of Sydney’s best attractions, including the Sydney Opera House, Sydney Harbour Bridge and the historic precinct, The Rocks.

Your modern guest room is comfortable and spacious featuring Free WIFI. The hotel’s 24 hour reception is on hand to help you make the most of the facilities and the local area, with recommendations on everything from picturesque running tracks to memorable small bars. The hotel features a well-equipped gym, coin-operated laundry, lobby bar and a restaurant for a quick and convenient bite to eat (not included) before your adventures in Sydney begin.

The hotel’s ideal position means you can choose between exploring the city on foot or via the extensive public transport network. Many of Sydney’s best attractions are within a short distance of the hotel, including some of the city’s most heavily awarded restaurants, such as Rockpool and Bennelong. The inner-city streets are also dotted with bars of every size, shape and specialty, from small, whiskey-focused Baxter Inn to the sprawling, cocktail-ready Opera Bar.

Day 9 - Day Tour, Sydney Opera House Tour (1 Hour)

On your vacation, participate in an inspiring tour of the Sydney Opera House.

This one hour tour outlines the intricate and controversial history of the Sydney Opera House along with details of the unique design of this architectural masterpiece. You will visit a number of the six performance venues, including the magnificent wood paneled Concert Hall and the Opera Theater as well as the new Utzon room. You will also visit the glass enclosed northern foyer areas which boast spectacular views of Sydney Harbour – a perfect photo opportunity.

Need to Know
This tour has 300+ stairs – Low Impact. It is strongly encouraged that you leave bags at your hotel and avoid bringing any large items to the Opera House (anything larger than an 8×10″ sheet of paper). No luggage or large bags accepted. Videoing is not allowed. There are plenty of photo opportunities — your tour guide will advise you if photos are not to be taken at any point.

Day 9 - Afternoon Tour, Harbour Story Cruise

Enjoy cocktails and the magnificent harbor the Sydney way with this enchanting cruise, delicious charcuterie board, and complimentary cocktail.

After making your own way to Circular Quay or King Street Wharf, step on board your spacious, fully equipped cruise boat and set off on the waters of Sydney Harbor. Take in views of Sydney as you enjoy your complimentary cocktail, artisan charcuterie board, and the feel of the breeze through your hair. Your state-of-the-art vessel features several dining areas, large picture windows, an atrium, and a 360-degree viewing deck. Keep your camera handy for photo opportunities of the Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbor Bridge along the backdrop of the skyline. Travel up to Shark Island and Fort Denison, and view secluded bays, marinas, and impressive waterfront homes. Return to Circular Quay or King Street Wharf to end your cruise, with easy access to nearby destinations in central Sydney.

Day 10 - Day Tour, Hunter Valley Wine Tour - Full Day

Explore the fertile Hunter Valley and taste delicious food and awardwinning wines. Enjoy private vineyard inspections and learn of the winemaking process. Spend time strolling in the vineyards, purchase some wine or simply enjoy the beautiful Australian countryside.

Admire the magnificent views of the Hawkesbury River on your drive through the Central Coast. The Hunter Valley is home to Australia’s oldest wine-producing region and owes its fame to world-class viticulturists and fertile soils.

Enjoy a private wine tasting experience at Leogate Estate Wines, which produces trophy-winning wines such as Chardonnay, Semillon and Shiraz, and learn of local wine-making techniques. Visit Hunter Valley Resort, where you can walk among the vines and learn about the wine-making process and the key role the resort plays in this region.

Enjoy lunch made with local produce, while you sample some of the area’s best wines. You’ll also have the chance to purchase a beer tasting paddle from the on-site brewery. The McGuigan family are respected pioneers of the industry and at their cellar door you’ll be greeted warmly and welcomed to a tasting of their fine wines.

Finish the day at Roche Estate, where you’ll have free time to explore the shops offering Australian cheeses at the Smelly Cheese Shop and gourmet delights plus coffee, gelato, craft beer and cellar doors (own expense).
