Shortly after departing Los Angeles you will be served dinner and you will be given breakfast before landing in Brisbane.

Relax, watch some movies, and try to get some sleep!

Travel by shuttle from Cairns Airport to your vacation accommodation in Port Douglas, Australia.

Departures occur approximately 30 minutes after aircraft arrival-time for domestic flights. For international flights this will be considerably longer because of customs and other formalities.

(Days 2 to 6) - 4 Nights Accommodation in Beautiful Port Douglas

Travel to your accommodation in Port Douglas, Australia, where you will be staying whilst on vacation for 4 nights.

Your vacation luxury boutique accommodation is located within walking distance of the three icons of Port Douglas – 200 metres from 4-Mile Beach, 100 metres from Macrossan Street and 400 metres to the Marina Village, where boats depart daily to Australia’s Outer Great Barrier Reef. On this day of your vacation, travel to Australia’s Great Barrier Reef, one of the natural wonders of the world, and not surprisingly the world’s most extensive coral reef.

Your informative and knowledgeable driver/guide will collect you from your accommodation and travel one of Australia’s great scenic Highways before arriving at the Daintree River. Reach an understanding of this wildlife environment for one hour, habitat of birds, tree snakes, unique plants and of course the estuarine crocodile. Experience a range of attractions from one of the many galleries to the great shopping districts. Stop for a bite to eat at the Marina Mirage and take a walk on the boardwalk while you’re there. Take a visit to Port Douglas’ first church, Saint Mary’s by the Sea and see fantastic views of the Coral Sea and distant mountains. Don’t forget to soak up the sun at Four Mile Beach or even take in a game of golf.

What ever your tastes happen to be, Port Douglas is a great place to relax and simply enjoy the many great features of this town.

Visit three environments and experience a cacophony of wildlife all at once at the Wildlife Habitat Animal Sanctuary located at the entrance of Port Douglas.

Situated on eight acres of land, the park recreates four very unique environments that allow you to see various and numerous species through meandering boardwalks. Enter through the Savannah, this new habitat offers an opportunity to wander amongst the beautifully rich coloured birds of northern Australian open woodland. Check out the Wetlands where you can view wading birds as they forage for fish beneath the boardwalks, along with marsupials, fruit bats and other bird species. Come hungry and have the original “Breakfast with the Birds” (extra cost) which will tempt you with Hot/Cold Buffet, juices, exotic tropical fruit selection and bottomless tea and coffee. Watch the clock and make sure to be on time for the Koala Photos (extra cost). Optional Day Tour (Not Included) - Sail Away to the Low Isles

Today you will enjoy a day to remember with a sail out to the protected Low Isles, an unspoiled coral cay in the Great Barrier Reef. With 4.5 hours to explore the coral cay, white sandy beaches and coconut palms whilst marveling at the coral gardens and the Coral Sea that surround you.

Enjoy the relaxing sail to and from the island as you will be transferred by tender to the island itself which is situated on a large coral platform consisting of a small coral cay, a large mangrove island, mudflats, seagrass beds, and coral reefs. Surrounded by 55 acres of coral reef comprised of 150 species of hard corals and dominated by 15 species of soft corals it is an ideal place for snorkelling. Living in the blue lagoon are a large variety of reef fish including angelfish, damselfish, anemones, giant trevally, sweetlip, fusiliers and many green turtles are sighted daily. Be sure not to miss out on the Heritage Walk where you can learn about the islands history and environment and visit the lighthouse built in 1878. Explore the fascinating surroundings of Australia’s Red Centre.

Day 1 – Sunset/Afternoon:
Your experienced driver guide will give you an overview of the fascinating history of Uluru – Kata Tjuta National Park as you make your way to Walpa Gorge, a lush desert haven for plants and animals. The gentle but rocky track will lead you into a world of rare plant species and lush evergreen shrubs known as Spearwood. Time to head off to the Uluru sunset viewing area. On arrival you’ll be served from a selection of Australian wines and nibbles. You can just sit and relax or stroll around the area to find your own personal space to watch an amazing Red Centre sunset.

Day 2 – Sunrise/Morning:
Enjoy tea or coffee and be inspired by an incredible view through stunning desert landscape as the sun rises over Uluru and Kata Tjuta. From the viewing platform it is possible to see way into the distance, providing an ideal photo opportunity. After the amazing sunrise and a relaxing morning tea, you will join a tour around the base of Uluru learning details on its geology and incredible history. Last on the morning tour is a visit to the Mutitjulu Waterhole and the Uluru – Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre.

Your informative and knowledgeable guide will collect you from your Sydney hotel as we commence our small group deluxe tour into the heart of the unique Blue Mountains World Heritage Region. The Blue Mountains National Park is one of seven national parks that make up the Greater Blue Mountains World Heritage Area. This wonderland of sandstone outcrops, deep ravines and hazy blue eucalypt forests boasts luxury retreats and the world’s steepest railway. Today your guide will take you off the beaten track to visit remote lookout locations and discuss the history, flora and fauna of this magnificent region.

Our first stop this morning is at Featherdale Wildlife Park where we arrive before any other tourists to meet the native Australian animals here – guests can actually get up close and personal, stroke a koala and hand feed kangaroos, wallabies & emus…a great experience.

Departing from Featherdale, we commence our drive to the Blue Mountains via the highway. We will travel through the picturesque village of Wentworth Falls, home to a good collection of Victorian and other historic buildings and onto the Wentworth Falls Lookout. With spectacular views over the Jamison Valley and the magnificent waterfall for which it is named, this beautiful lookout is our first stop. Here we enjoy a leisurely 30 minute round trip walk to see the Waterfalls.

Continuing on we arrive at Eaglehawk Lookout, a remote lookout point away from the crowds for views of the famous 3 Sisters. Whilst the Blue Mountains features so much more than this natural attraction you can’t help but admire the unquestionable beauty of this amazing rock formation. The character of the Three Sisters changes throughout the day and throughout the seasons as the sunlight brings out the magnificent colours. Here your guide will discuss the legends behind this famous rock formation and time available for you to take some great photos.

The lunch venue at the Hydro Majestic Hotel is an experience in itself. With magnificent valley views you can enjoy your choice of tastes from our special menu while you chat with other guests and your guide.

The afternoon is spent visiting a selection of lookouts. Once you clap your eyes on the view from Govetts Leap you’ll know why it’s one of the most famous lookouts in Australia. The magnificent waterfall drops a whopping 180m to the base of the cliff. If you’re not mesmerised by the dancing waves of water spray, you’ll be transfixed by the sweeping views down the valley to the Grose Wilderness. We then drive through the picturesque village of Mt Wilson and stop to enjoy a glass of sparkling wine or orange juice at a beautiful remote lookout location. The last stop is at the delightful Mt Tomah Botanic Gardens where we stop to enjoy the sweeping views across to Sydney before travelling down the Bells Line of Road to arrive back at your hotel approximately 4.30 – 5.00pm.

Spend a full day discovering the beautiful Hunter Valley and sampling award-winning regional wines of New South Wales, Australia. Cross the famous Sydney Harbour Bridge and view the magnificent Hawkesbury River. First stop is Drayton’s Wines, one of the Hunter Valley’s pioneering wine-making companies that is still family-owned and operated. You’ll taste their award-winning wines and experience over 150 years of wine-making excellence.
Take a fully guided tour of McWilliams Mt Pleasant Estate, founded in 1921, before enjoying a delicious luncheon complimented by specially chosen wines.
