Days 2 to 5 - 3 Nights Accommodation in Noosa

Travel to your accommodation on the Sunshine Coast, Australia, where you will be staying whilst on vacation for 3 nights.

Optional Day Tour (Not Included) - 4WD Off Road Fraser Island Adventure - Full Day

The unique qualities of Fraser Island make it a destination you must see!

Your 4WD adventure begins by crossing the Noosa River and heading for Cooloola National Park. Ride along gorgeous beaches before reaching Rainbow Beach where erosion has left sandy cliffs exposed with a palette of 72 different coloured sands. Here you will stop for coffee or tea with fresh pastries and learn of the Aboriginal legend that tells of a spirit which took the form of a rainbow. After a fight over a young woman, the spirit fell into the cliffs and infused the sand with its many colours. Through Rainbow Beach to Inskip Point, you’ll embark on the barge to Fraser Island… a brief crossing that may delight you with sightings of playful dolphins. Travelling 75 mile beach is an exciting experience as your group navigates the pristine sands towards Eurong Village, then the off road terrain into the island’s core. Discover the awe of nature as you are guided through the rainforests of Central Station or Yidney Scrub, before a leisurely lunch stop at Lake McKenzie, Lake Birrabeen, or one of the island’s spectacular freshwater creeks. Your return journey is an invitation to enjoy the forestry wonders of Fraser Island – scribbly gums and eucalypts contrasting with blackbutts and string barked satinays. The “Call of the Wild” experience leads you to Steve’s home and over 550 animals that you would only expect to see in the wilds of Australia. Experience a truly remarkable day as you watch a demonstration featuring wild crocodiles. Meet Amelia, the Wedged-Tailed Eagle and other birds of prey. Indulge in the ultimate experience of Whitehaven Beach; from the northern end exploring spectacular Hill Inlet, to the southern, where you can swim, sunbathe and soak up the sun. No other day cruise offered allows you so much time to explore the wonders of Whitehaven Beach!

Enjoy a leisurely cruise along the full length of Whitehaven, across Hill Inlet to a landing point. From here you’ll take a guided walk following the path and history of the Whitsunday traditional owners, the Ngaro people. This will lead you to the lookout and that picture postcard view! There are informative displays along the way that will provide an insight into the history, flora and stories of this picturesque area. A leisurely pace ensures all fitness levels are catered for, and guests take the time to enjoy this superb spiritual place.

Just north of Mackay and south of Townsville, is a coastal town of palm-fringed beaches, waterfront parks and alfresco restaurants. Spend a few days exploring before you head off on your island holiday and you’ll find plenty of action, from sailing to scuba diving to skydiving. Take a seaplane for a picnic on the of Whitehaven Beach or learn to sail in clear waters. Airlie Beach is more than just an aquatic playground; nearby you’ll find tropical rainforest and waterfalls in Conway National Park.

Departing from Airlie Beach, Camira cruises past Whitsunday Island, passing Daydream, Hamilton and Hook islands en route.

On Whitsunday Island’s east coast, Camira moors at the northern end of Whitehaven Beach, a 7km arc of dazzling white sand, regularly voted Australia’s best beach.

Today you’ll have the day free to Explore Brisbane. We suggest you use this opportunity to take in the sights of this beautiful city. Perhaps purchase a few souvenirs for family or friends back home.

Brisbane is a vibrant city with many activities and sights to enjoy within walking distance from your hotel. Visit the South Bank precinct, full of fantastic riverside restaurants, home of renowned art galleries including the Gallery of Modern Art and Queensland Museum, sky-high views from The Wheel of Brisbane, as well as parklands that feature family friendly urban beach pools with expansive city views. Experience the beauty of Brisbane from the river CityCat ferries, and hop on and off at riverside neighborhoods such as the cultural Powerhouse precinct, and festive dining and beverages found at the new Howard Smith Wharves precinct. A must see for all visitors to Brisbane, Mt Coot-tha’s “Brisbane Lookout” offers spectacular panoramic views over the city all the way to Moreton Bay. Whale watching is seasonal. Children are required to be 6 and older to participate in snorkeling. Some of the activities and tours are physically demanding and may pose a health or safety risk. For your safety, you must disclose before booking if you are suffering from any injury, medical condition (such as pregnancy, epilepsy, asthma or cardiovascular conditions), disability, disease or illness which may be aggravated by participation in or may interfere with your ability to safely participate.

Day 12 - Shuttle Transfer, Brisbane Accommodation to Airport

Travel by shuttle from your vacation accommodation in Brisbane, Australia, to the Airport.

Luggage is limited to 2 suitcases per person. Excess luggage, surfboards & bicycles will be carried at a rate of $10.00 AUD per item. All luggage must be clearly labelled by the passenger, including name and full address.
