Travel by shuttle from the Cairns Airport to your vacation accommodation in Cairns, Australia.

Departures occur approximately 30 minutes after aircraft arrival-time for domestic flights. For international flights this will be considerably longer because of customs and other formalities.

Days 2 to 5 - 3 Nights Accommodation in Cairns

This Great Barrier Reef experience is perfect for swimmers with all levels of confidence! This all-weather platform offers a plethora of options to see the amazing under water wonderland that is the Great Barrier Reef!

Snorkel in the sheltered coral lagoon, join a Marine Biologist on a Guided Snorkel safari, or go scuba diving (no experience necessary)

For those not confident in swimming, stay dry and view the reef from the semi-submersible reef viewer, glass bottom boat or underwater observatory or try a Helmet Dive for a scuba-style experience without getting your hair wet.

Today you’ll board the famous Kuranda Scenic Railway for an awe-inspiring journey to Kuranda. You’ll enjoy exploring Kuranda Village and gliding over the rainforest canopy aboard Skyrail, the “World’s Most Beautiful Rainforest Experience.”

Travel onboard the Kuranda Scenic Railway from Cairns as this famous historic journey winds its way along the Kuranda Range through 15 tunnels and over 40 bridges passing the impressive Stoney Creek and Barron Falls, considered to be one of the world’s most spectacular railway journeys. Spend free time in Kuranda “Village in the Rainforest” your destination, wandering the many shops and markets offering a full range of local and unique handcrafts, souvenirs and gifts. Experience the leisure atmosphere at the playground for locals and tourists alike at The Esplanade in Cairns!

With so many activities available The Esplanade has always been a focal point for this city. This is a place that literally has everything! Take a stroll and do some bird watching on the boardwalk but as you enjoy the views don’t forget to stop off at Foreshore Promenade for a bite to eat at the many available restaurants. Access to The Lagoon is easy here which is set overlooking the Barrier Reef and Trinity inlet and features all year free swimming where you can take a dip in this filtered saltwater lagoon. Let the kids can play in the sandy edges and in the shallow waters while you lounge on the semi-shaded timber decks. For the kids, don’t miss out on the Trinity Bay foreshore playground “Muddy” with equipment for all ages. For the older kids, stop off at the Skate Park to see some skaters and BMXers in action! Whether you decide to take a morning jog, fly a kite or just relax in the large grassy areas for some lunch you will surely enjoy the tropical lifestyle!

If you happen to be in Cairns on a Saturday be sure to check out the Weekend Markets which feature only locally made arts and crafts, clothing and much more. While you’re there listen out for the live music and fun street characters. The market gets into full swing on the promenade (just by the lagoon) every Saturday between 8am – 4pm.

Days 5 to 6 - 2 Day Tour, Sunset & Sunrise Pass at Uluru and Kata Tjuta

Explore the fascinating surroundings of Australia’s Red Centre.

Day 1 – Sunset/Afternoon:
Your experienced driver guide will give you an overview of the fascinating history of Uluru – Kata Tjuta National Park as you make your way to Walpa Gorge, a lush desert haven for plants and animals. The gentle but rocky track will lead you into a world of rare plant species and lush evergreen shrubs known as Spearwood. Time to head off to the Uluru sunset viewing area. On arrival you’ll be served from a selection of Australian wines and nibbles. You can just sit and relax or stroll around the area to find your own personal space to watch an amazing Red Centre sunset.

Day 2 – Sunrise/Morning:
Enjoy tea or coffee and be inspired by an incredible view through stunning desert landscape as the sun rises over Uluru and Kata Tjuta. From the viewing platform it is possible to see way into the distance, providing an ideal photo opportunity. After the amazing sunrise and a relaxing morning tea, you will join a tour around the base of Uluru learning details on its geology and incredible history. Last on the morning tour is a visit to the Mutitjulu Waterhole and the Uluru – Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre.

Optional Late Afternoon Tour (Not Included) - Outback Camel Ride to Sunset over Uluru

On your vacation participate in a unique camel riding adventure at Uluru, Australia’s Red Centre.



In this incredible experience, come face to face with a friendly ‘Outback’ Australian camel as you ride away from the crowds and ride through the red sand dunes to Uluru. Learn about the local flora and fauna as you skilled guided shares insights into the landscape around you. Take in spectacular views of the everchanging reds and oranges of Uluru as the sun begins to set.



This sunset ride departs in the fading afternoon light, arriving at Uluru to watch its color changes. You will return to the Camel Depot for a glass of champagne, soft drinks and some tasty snacks. While you’re there don’t forget to grab some souvenirs from the Camel Shop!

Operates All year round except December 25th and January 1. Pick ups from accommodation are 1.5 hours prior to sunset (seasonal) and returns 2.5 hours later.

Need to Know Two passengers travel per camel. Maximum number of 40 guests allowed. Please advise if your weight exceeds 220 lbs. Helmets may be provided on request. No bags, fanny packs or large camera bags allowed while riding. Bags and other loose items may be stored for passengers upon request. Day 9 - Free Day to Explore Sydney

Walk to Circular Quay and catch a ferry to our wonderful harbour-side Taronga Park Zoo, or take the 30 minute ferry ride to Manly Beach, Sydney’s premier beach resort. Here you can enjoy the laid back beach culture as well as many festivals and events. If you prefer to stay closer to downtown Sydney, Bondi Beach is approximately a 10 minute train ride and is one of Australia’s most famous and iconic beaches. Leura

Next is a stop at the picturesque and quaint town of Leura. Here you can grab a bite to eat at one of the many restaurants and cafés or why not choose our optional lunch (see right). This beautiful town will take you back in time and is famous for its antique stores and of course its Candy Store which is stocked floor to ceiling with more than 1,000 unusual sweets gathered from all over the world.

Featherdale Wildlife Park

Stop at Featherdale Wildlife Park. Situated on seven acres of natural bush setting, you’ll be able to hand-feed kangaroos, wallabies and emus and enjoy a face-to-face encounter with one of the friendly koalas.
